Multi-Factor Authentication - Hardware Key Setup

Prerequisites

You will need the following items to set up MFA with a hardware key:

·        A computer on which you can access your Finley account

·        A hardware key that is plugged into the computer

Link Your Finley Account to the Hardware Key

1.     On your computer, navigate to the My Account Page and sign in using your Finley email address and password.


2.     On the left side of the page, click on ‘Security Info’



3.     Next, click on ‘Add sign-in method’



4.     A box will pop-up with a dropdown list. Select ‘Security Key’ from the list and click ‘Add’



5.     After clicking on ‘Add’ you will be presented with a popup box like the below. Select ‘USB device’



6.     The below box will then appear on screen. Select ‘Next’



7.     Another box will appear, select ‘More choices’, then select ‘Security Key’, then click ‘Next’



8.     Two more confirmation boxes will appear, select ‘OK’ on both boxes



9.     Next, you will be prompted to enter in a security PIN. Please enter any 4 digit pin as you will then use that to confirm your identity later. Once you’ve entered a pin, click ‘OK’



10.  After creating a PIN, you will then be prompted to tap the security key. Tap the 'y' on the key to finish setup
