Adding a Teams Background

Download the Files -  Download the background files to your computer and note where you saved them.
Before a Meeting

  1. Join your meeting.

  2. On the pre-join screen, turn on your camera.

  3. Select Background filters (or Video effects).

  4. Choose a background, or go to More video effects > Add new to upload your own image.

  5. Select Done to apply it, or simply close the window to join the meeting.

During a Meeting

  1. Click More actions (...) and select Video effects.

  2. Pick an existing image, or upload a new one from your PC.

  3. Use Preview to see how it looks before applying.

  4. Select Done to apply your background.

Note: If your image appears mirrored, that is normal. It only looks reversed to you; everyone else sees it correctly. You can adjust this in your settings if you prefer.
